DT kort för magnolia #4

Här har det blivit dåligt uppdaterat :S Men jag har jobbat en massamassa så när jag har kommit hem på kvällarna har det inte funnits tid. jag lovar att jag ska hälsa på alla som varit urgulliga och lämnat kommentarer här...bara jag hittar lite tid =)

Iallafall så fick jag de nya magnoliastämplarna förra veckan!! *lycka* Igårkväll hade jag lite tid till att sätta ihop ett kort. Allt material kommer från Magnolia.

I promise that I will visit you all as soon as I have some spare time...right now I'm working alot so there's little time over for other things when I get home.

I recieved the new Magnolia weddingstamps last week!! They are adorable! Yesterday I had some time to put togheter one card. All material is from Magnolia.


I've painted her with distress inks; Weathered wood, fred brick, forest moss, stormy sky, tattered rose, vintage photo and walnut stain.

Gudars vad jag ser fram emot det nya nummret av Magnolia ink! jag kommer att hänga på låset till affären när dom öppnar den dagen ;P

I'm so looking forward to look in the Magnolia Ink magazine! I will hang on the doors to the store when it is released ;P

DTkort för handarbeta

Jag ääälskar choklad och tycker att alla som inte gillar choklad är lite konstiga ;P Därför ska Max dagisfröknar få sånadär Werther's chokladkakor (gudomligt goda) i sommarpresent. Det är ju lite tråkigt att bara ge bort chokladkakorna utan något fodral så därför har jag gjort ett. Det blir lite mer personligt och så tycker jag.

I looove chockolate and I think that everyone that doesen't feel the same is a little nuts ;P That's why Max's kindergarden teachers will get these divine chockolate...things in summerpresent. It's a little boring to just give them as they are so I made a cover. It's more personally I think.

Man får ju börja med att mäta ut i ett cardstock hur långt det ska vara, vart man ska vika osv...

You start out by messuring in the cardstock, where to cut and foil and so on..

Jag valde en hÄngel som motiv på fodralet. Det är målat med distressfärgerna Walnut stain, vintage photo, tattered rose, weathered wood och victorian velvet.

I choosed a hÄngel to put on the front cover.

Det bästa man kan göra är att klä in chokladkakan i cardstocken och montera allt. Annars är risken att det blir buckligt eller, ve och fasa, fodralet inte passar!

I think that the best thing to do is to dress the chockolate at once. That way you dont shinkle the paper or find out that the cover is to small when it's time for the chockolate to "get in" =)

Så här ser det ut när det är klart. Chokladakan ligger i tryggt förvar (utan räckhåll för mina fingrar) och fröknarna får sig en roligare och ätbar sommarpresent =)

Tävlingsbidrag

Ännu ett kort som jag har gjort till en utmaning hos Pysseltagen. Reglerna var att skapa ett morsdagskort i turkost och rött, 1 pin, 2 knappar och 3 rosor (varken mer eller mindre). Utöver det fick man tillägga vad som helst.

Here's another card that I've made for a challenge at Pysseltagen. The rules are to make a card for mothersday in red and turqoise, use 1 pin, 2 buttons and 3 roses (no more or less). besides from that it's free to add other tings.

I've painted her with distress ink and Tombows.

Massa dekorationer...

Ni måste tro att jag har blivit komplett galen med alla dekorationer...Men jag är med i Sir Stampalots månadstävling som har temat "Fjärilar och Blommor". När jag tänker på temat så tänker jag inte bara på en massa dekorationer utan oxå färgen roooosa! ;)

You must think that I've gone completly nuts with all the embellishments...But I'm in Sir Stampalots challenge where the theme is "Butterflies and Blossoms". And when I think about the theme, not only do I think of a lots of embellishments, but also the colour pink ;)


This lovely Tilda from Magnoila I've painted with Distress inks: Walnut stain, tattered rose, vintage photo, victorian velvet, weathered wood, forest moss and dusty concord.

This butterfly is painted with cracklepaint to get an elderly look.

I've used a chrystal branch from Magnolia.

Födelsedags- och dopkort

Imorgon fyller min morfar 90 år! Helt fantastiskt att få vara med om en 90års dag i familjen =) dessutom så är han relativt (han är ju 90 så några små krämpor finns ju) pigg och helt klar i knoppen. Han sköter handling och sånt själv och det tycker jag är toppen! Hoppas att jag själv får vara som morfar när jag blir 90! =)

Tomorrow is a big day! It's my grandpa's 90th birthday! It's amazing to be able to celibrate that =) He's the best and have no problems reminding things that happened 80 years ago. No problems with memoryloss or anything...ok he's 90 so his body is not at his best, but he do the shopping and all that himself. I can just hope that I'll become like him when I'm at that age. =)

Jag har ju naturligtvis gjort ett kort åt honom. Jag gjorde kortet efter en 3Dutmaning hos Sukkersött.

I've made him a card after a 3D challenge that Sukkersött have this week.


Jag har byggt upp det med 3Dkuddar så det blir lite dimensionellt...typ...

Här är ett kort som jag gjort på morgonen. Jag gillar verkligen tilda med bubblor!

Som ni kanske redan har märkt så är jag beroende av pearlmaker! Jag kan inte sluta plutta med den när jag väl satt igång!...Tror ni att Dr.Drew (celebrity rehab) har ett rehab för scrapmissbrukare? Min last vore nog pearlmaker isåfall ;P

As you may have noticed I'm addicted to pearlmaker...I just can't stop using it!...Do you think that Dr. Drew have a rehab for scrapjunkies? My thing would be pearlmaker I think ;P

Idag är det ljuvligt väder! 17 grader och strålande sol! Idag står trädgårdsarbete på schemat...jag är inte alls intresserad av sånt men det måste väl se lite snyggt ut iallafall ;P

The sun is shining here now and it's 17¤C outside! So today we're going to make the lawn look nice. =)

Tack snälla för era söta kommentarer om min distress tutorial! Jag är så glad att den blev uppskattad =D Jag ska försöka hinna med att besöka allas bloggar och lämna en hälsning så fort mina händer är lite bättre. Det är pekfingervalsen med handskena som gäller för tillfället ;P Ett kort tar ett tag färdigställa så därför har det blivit lite dåligt med uppdateringar den sista tiden...
Men det är tur att jag har denna hobby för annars hade jag nog blivit galen haha =D

I'm so happy that you appreciated it =D I'll try to visit your blogs and leave a comment as soon as my hands are a little better. Right now I'm having my hand...bandage...thing(?) on so it's point with one finger one letter at a time ;P One card takesome time to make so thats why I've been slacking at the blog...
But if I didn't have this wonderful hobby I would propably go insane haha =D

Måla med distresser

Jag har lite problem med händerna så idag får ni läsa allt på engelska ;P

I've had many inquirys on both mail and in my blogs to do a tutorial on how i use and colour with the distress inks. So now I've finally done one that I hope can be of some use for you who are interested :) It's going to be a looong post with a lot of pitcures so I hope that you can stay awake to the end ;)
I have alot of problems and great pain with my hands at the moment (waiting for operation of them both) so the colouring is not at my best...

This is what I start with. A little bowl of water, a palett, acrylic blocks, a pencil and ofcourse the motif (magnolias Tilda and fence) and colours.

I always begin with the skin and haircolour. For skin I use tattered rose and vintage photo refills. I mix these two to get a better effect.

I start with laying a dark"string" of skincolour by the hair.

Then I take some water (only) in the brush to rub it out.

To get rid of lines, like the one above, I use more water and rub it out.

The face looks dark because it's still wet :)

I continue with the rest of the skin.

After that I do the hair. I ALWAYS start with the skin and hair because they are the hardest to get "right". It's no fun when you've done almost everything perfect and messes up with the face at the end...I can't count the number of times that I've done that ;)

For the hair I've used Walnut stain and vintage photo (refills).

And now for the dress that I want to colour with spiced marmelade. This time I take the distress ink pad (is it called pad?). I press it against an acrylic block and gather the colour with a brush.

Same thing here, I start with a line and rub it out with water.

When I want to colour something so that it looks white, I take weatered wood and make shadows.

Here I've started with the green details and I've used Forest moss.

For the fence I've used vintage photo and the flowers victorian velvet.

The shoes is coloured with Walnut stain

Now the motif is almost ready...

Around Tilda I paint shadows so that it don't looks so "flat".

Aaaaalmost ready...

One final touch ;) I use drychalks to blush her up.
